Age: 22 years old

Died: June 22, 2006 in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Unit: Marines, 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Incident: Killed while conducting combat operations in Anbar Province.

 

Sgt. Robert G. Davis

Sgt. Robert G. Davis

Hometown: Jackson, Missouri, U.S.

Age: 23 years old

Died: August 18, 2005 in Operation Enduring Freedom.

Unit: Army, 864th Engineer Combat Battalion (Heavy), 555th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade (Provisional), Fort Lewis, Wash.

Incident: Killed when a makeshift bomb detonated underneath his Humvee during ground assault convoy operations in Kandahar.

Incident: Killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his vehicle during combat operations in Ad War.

Incident: Died March 24 in Baghdad from wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered a makeshift bomb on March 23.
